I can’t believe I’m even making this post, but my dad really tried to call me a “mud shark” and a “mixed breeder” just because I’m dating a Black man.

there so focused on his skin color that nobody wanna talk about the fact this man treats me better than most dudes ever have. He’s loyal, he provides, he takes care of me, and he actually respects me.
Meanwhile half the men I dated before had no problem embarrassing me, cheating on me, and wasting my time.
The saddest part is my boyfriend can tell he’s not accepted by my family, and I hate that for him.
Nobody should have to walk into a room and feel judged before they even open their mouth. his family welcomed me with open arms from day one.
They never treated me different, never made me feel uncomfortable, never cared about what I looked like. I just wish my family could see the man he is instead of being stuck on the color of his skin.😐💔
